Hi All
I'm new to this forum and I'm considering buying a Fiat 500 1.2 lounge. I like both cars EACH having 30,000 miles but The 2008 has higher spec with rear parking sensors, all red leather seats (1owner) and looks like a digital climate control with temp showing in Celsius. Price £3990. The 2013 Lounge has same mileage with cloth interior as expected, price £4250 (3 owners) Would the 2008 be much the same under the hood, etc or should I go with newer car? Is leather seats advantage or not with comfort and cleaning care? Help please Georgia.

In second-hand car terms, five years is a lifetime. My advice would be to go for the later car. Are the service books of both cars fully stamped?
We had an '09 basic 500 Pop and now have a '11 fully-specced 500C. Both bought second-hand and with v.low mileage. Same engine, same servicing, same running costs more or less. The difference between your two choices would be minimal now, day to day, but the difference between the resale values will grow larger.
The cloth seats in our Pop did'nt take any more cleaning than the leather seats in our 500C but, if you regularly drive with a cappucino and blueberry muffin on the go, put some covers on :D
Parking sensors are handy but I manage without them on other cars, so..... personal choice.
