Hi everyone!
Just joined to see if I can get some "expert" advice on my little project car- Fiat Punto mk 2, 1.2 16v (I think). I say expert because you guys all seem to know pretty much anything there is to know about fiats so.
Anyway, My first car ever was a Fiat punto mk1, 60 model, I'm sorry if I'm incorrect on a few things, I'm more of a pc geek than a car guy. But yeah so I've had that punto for 3 years now, and last year my dad pretty much impulse bought a nackerd Punto Mk2 which has a busted engine. Bought the car for 500, then paid 500 to get the engine completely fixed, then another 1000 for new suspension, full breaks, and a full general fix (Oils and so on), pretty much we spent 2k on getting her all ready and then never touched her again.
Had her pretty much sat doing nothing because she has no insurance or MOT, but been getting her going these past few days and are getting ready to start working on her, mainly because my Punto mk1 just had a new clutch installed a few weeks ago and I'm starting to feel she's going to just give up any day now. So I came on here in hopes I can get some help turning her into a car worth showing off.
Anyway hope to get along with everyone here and would love to see everyone else's Puntos!
