which pipe??
emaps.jpg

According to my eper all them pipes are still available new, its a couple of years old but i find it hard to believe fiat would have stopped making these already, its the same on quite a few newer cars than yours.

That said, whichever pipe it is you are most likely best option is buying 2nd hand or from a scrappies, fiat will want a silly amount of money for a new one... on my eper pipe 3 is £71 and its a few years old now so that will have gone up a bit usually from the eper prices

thank you so much for your reply's, the fiat dealer where I live in Cheltenham said on their system it says they do not make it anymore. I went to my local scrap yard and could not find anything, does anyone know were else I can look? he gave me a number for it 46774032.

at the moment that is what I have done. I have taped it, but I suppose it cannot be a long term solution

I got a quotation from a fiat dealer in uk for the part number 3 in the picture with some difference for my cvt punto 1.2 16v 2000 was around 80gbp.

Yeah there is a different pipe for the manual to auto, the part number they have given you Tashinga is actually the auto box pipe according to my eper (the eper is what they use in the dealership for part numbers etc), correct part no. is 46784502 for the manual box. I don't know how they differ having never looked at an auto one.

Ah, you just down road from me, i'm just over in Forest-Of-Dean!! which scrapyard did you go to? Harry Bucklands i think its called the one i go to, only one i know tbh. Its not far from the big Asda, other side of the A40 from there. If you go in another scrapyard you wanna be looking in not just punto engine bays, the 16v fire engine is in alot of fiats so just check any fiat you see.

yes I went to harry bucklands, that is the only one I know,i will try and go back again.

Hi,

I too am looking for this pipe / duct but manual car version 46784502 for MK2B Punto 1.2 16v Active 2004. Mine is also damaged / taped up and I want to smarten it up a bit. I have found the crankcase breather pipe and got one of those from Amazon as mine is split and taped before it reaches the air duct itself.

I am in Kent / Margate for anyone interested. I have also been told by Fiat Northgate Canterbury (very good dealer btw for buying and basic service at least) that the part is no longer made.

On ePER I see it only costs a few pounds but I don't know any way to order from Fiat direct. Also could be outdated as I believe ePER on here is a few years old.

Also if anyone could tell me if I just take the old breather pipe off and swap it I would be grateful as Haynes manual describes this part in the section 4A.11-27 Inlet manifold removal. You can see the crankcase end in 4A.11-27 I think but I'm not a mechanic so know very little about this stuff.

You can see the inlet duct I'm looking for in 4A.2-6 / 7 / 8 but mine is 2004 so has no vacuum hose attachment. Just the two ends and crankcase breather attachment. Maybe vacuum hose is for automatic model? Haynes manual doesn't say.

Am looking at Oct 1999 to July 03 manual but my car seems pretty similar. I don't think Fiat did too much to thins model for the facelift except change headlights / taillights and badges.

Thanks
Ps I used to be on here as eddiegi686 or edg I believe but lost access to my email address. This is my third Fiat for various reasons... Some will probably judge me for that. But hopefully not on here.

Anyone able to help with this? I found the part on megaparts.eu but looks like a dodgy website and very expensive.
