Hi all, brand new to site so please go easy on me lol. my wife has a fiat punto evo, and yesterday it blew a fuse on the instrument panel, i replaced the fuse this morning and it went again almost immediately, replaced again this time lasted about 15 mins before going again. any pointers in the right direction or is it just a case of take it to garage and suffer the consequenses. the fuse in question is number 3 in the glove box fusebox.
many thanks in advance.by the way its a dualogic gearbox, dont know if this would make any difference.

Hi.
The evo is still basically a grande under the shiny new bits..
So the excellent FAQ's info at top of gp section are a very valuable assett.

Ok... to blow a fuse SOMETHING is drawing heavy current.

Favourites would be radio..
and the air moving FAN

RADIO.. just do the research to be able to remove/ slide from dash. and then disconnect it.

Fan itself is relatively straightforward..
Its the controls for the speeds that are more complex...of course just turning the fan to
ZERO

Then seeing if the fuse lasts may be an easy test.
