Good morning, I am new to this so hopefully I'm in the right place. I have acquired a 1967 Vignale 850 Bertone from a gentleman who bought it at auction in Italy in 2010. The car is in the UK but has no paperwork other than the original auction catalogue. I want to register the car in the UK and need to confirm that the chassis number corresponds with the car. Anyone have any advice on how I can get this information? Other tips on registration most welcome!

Was the vendor selling because he couldn't get it registered?
Maybe start by joining the Vignale Register and registering your car. I believe that the DVLA will want as much evidence as possible but that might be a starting place.
Fiat might have records showing that the chassis went to Vignale, so again, another starting point.
