I have a 1.9 Sedici (2007) and it has been great until today. Now it has gone into limp mode and has a light on. Also, the aircon doesn't work and my local garage have said that I have to buy a hose from Fiat at a cost of £383.05 plus VAT. Can anyone help with either of these issues please?

Hi.and welcome.

Whatever has caused the limp mode will have left a stored fault code.. reading this code is relatively simple and cheap..the fix may not be..

Aircon hose...there are parts diagrams around on the web..or at 2007 it MAY feature in the forums own ePER MANUAL.

GET the part number..then google for the best price.

Thanks for the reply. I'll get the part number and take it from there

Unusual to need an aircon hose, possible it has perished, but make sure it is not just joint seals needed.
If the end fittings are ok, a local hydraulic hose specialist may be able to make one. Can't just be removed and sent as a pattern, the rest of the system needs to be plugged/sealed meantime, so shouldn't use car. Then once new hose fitted aircon needs evacuating and regassing.

I had the same problem with my aircon - FIAT wanted Euro 480 to replace the entire aircon pipe as the old one (2008) was replaced with a new item which is not compatible with the old one.

So I went to an AIRCON specialist and for Euro 170 he put a custom pipe and re-gassed the system for me.
