I don't think the forum eper will help you with this one. It dates from around 2005, so it won't cover the 186A9 which I think is the Mjet motor with a DPF? If you wanted to switch to a 186A8, you'd also need things like the ECU to go with that engine.

As an aside it may also land you with some problems when it comes to road tax and emissions testing at MOT time.

I think the A9 spec may also be used in very similar spec in some Alfas. It may be worth checking them out. There are other (more recent) versions of ePER available on other websites. I've used ones on Polish and Czech owners clubs sites before now, but you need to be patient and go on them at quiet times of day (such as early hours of the morning) as they get over-subscribed very easily.

Multiplas never got a 16V diesel motor, in any market. A shame, as the 140/150PS unit would have made it quite peppy, especially with the extra torque those have to offer.
