Hello! I just want to introduce myself. New Fiat 500L owner from Sweden. The car is a Fiat 500L from 1967. We bought it in Italy and drove it to Gothenburg Sweden last week. The tour was from Bergamo Italy via Garda lake to Brenner pass and then further to Innsbruck. There we loaded the car to train and travelled overnight to Hamburg. From Hamburg we drove to Kiel for the last night which was by ferry to Gothenburg. It was a pleasant drive from 25 degrees and sunshine in Italy to 4 degrees and rain in Sweden. But, it was one one the best vacations me and my wifr ever had. Looking forward to learn from all of your wisdom and knowledge of the old Fiat cars. As a Vespa and Lambretta driver since many years I know that this kind of forums is unbeatable when it comes to solving problems that may happen in the future.

Welcome to the forum Hans--I have found this to be just about the most helpful of all the Forums. Great looking 'Wee beastie". Now that summer is approaching, I hope that you have many opportunities to use and enjoy her.

Welcome to the forum Hans. Wow what a trip you took. Just curious, did they sell you the car in Italy titled as a 500L? All signs point to you actually having a 500 F. The 500L would have the elongated speedometer. Additionally the 500L was produced 1968-1972. Happy tinkering!
