hello everyone
my name is Josko. im from Croatia, 26 years old. Currently driving 2006. GP 1.4 8v
before GP i owned 1992. Fiat Uno after that i bought 1995. Fiat punto MK1 and last car before GP was 2001. Fiat Punto MK2. Ive read this forum many times as a guest and thats why i joined it is very helpful and it has plenty of good threads. im also member of italia corse forum from croatia and fiat-lancia forum form serbia.
from the start i have one question: yesterday i got gp evo tail lights and i tried to fit them but im stuck fom beginning. my gp has 4 wires on connector and gp evo tail light has 5 connectors. my question is does anyone have scematic how to connect them? i also have 25w 8 ohm resistors. if anyone can draw wiring diagram that will be cool. thanks in advance

i had issues today with page loading thats why i didnt see content on the right side in the topic that is describing conversion to evo lights now everything is fine.

finally i had some time to assembly evo tail lights. so lets start. firstly you must understand that before you start anything take your multimeter and measure what pin goes where because my evo tail lights are from 2010. year and my friend got same lights but from 2011. and pins where totaly different. i made a schematics of my car and pins on evo lights.

i repeat measure everything before connecting.
i stripped wires isolation near connectors and i didnt cut them out just in case.
connector was made from old molex connector fitted perfectly but on right side lamp i had to cut in half because on right side 3rd connector was not using. that fifth pin is useless its just body check for lamp and we have resistor to cancel dashboard error.
you need to put resistor between led+ and negative wires. i used 3.2w 0.29A resistor used from old t10 load resistor we will see how long will it work. everything was perfectly fitted and resistor is inside on chasis so it willl not get hot. but its not big deal after 10 mins of working it was barely warm.
