I am an expat living in Naples Italy. I am the proud owner of a fully restored FIAT 500 model F. Hoping to learn more about the car, how to care for it, and potential modifications.


I have a few mods already but I seem to find things that need improvement every time I drive it. The rebuilt motor has very low miles/KMs but it was a misfire issue that I noticed last weekend driving back from Casserta Vecchia.
The engine seems to abruptly sag as you gently increase the throttle to full throttle. It recovers instantly and does not seem to do it at lower RPMs. The car has the 123-ignition conversion so not sure if that is the issue or something else.


Other mods...650CC, 28mm(?) Weber carb, synchronized transmission, sport pipes, custom paint, leather seats, sport muffler, front disk brakes...
