Hi all,



Help required ,there is a problem with central locking system in my fiat linea so dealer suggested to change ECM unit, new one is bit expensive I bought from a local vendor its from a condemned linea of same model both the part numbers are same I checked. I replaced ECM with a local mechanic central locking is working fine. But engine won't start and showing pad lock sign.Iam having original key code card with me. somebody please help me.

the "new" ECM is not recognising the OLD keys.

did you get the NEW keys with NEW ECM..??

Yes, changed whole ignition switch and key.

yes,the black ring around it.

strange.. you've possibly got a basic electrical problem then..

as the immobiliser is NOT being deactivated.

Sir, is scanner required while new ECM is replaced.
