And yes, on closer examination, much bigger than a Swan Vesta box!

Re: Battery draining

Hey Ho......different to mine, I think.....defo different colour, mines just like a galvanised/silver type colour, not that that means owt !! , and cables go in different place.
Will be interested in what our friend 'burrowsdeano' comes back with.
My apologies if my trying to help has muddied the water.....
Cheers Qube O.

Re: Battery draining

Just to clarify, all blue&me control units are black with a blue connector and are all the same across the entire fiat and Alfa range. I'm only that sure because I have replaced dozens of them. Hope this helps everyone

Re: Battery draining

Yept, your spot on burrowsdeano as per the colour, looked silver in the glow of a LCD torch....it is black. But 50/50, my cables are still different, and its still under passenger seat.....haha.
Still, main thing is that our friend Bissell gets his motor sorted.....
Cheers Qube O.

Re: Battery draining

Thanks again chaps! I managed to disconnect it, the wheels didn't fall off and fingers crossed its done the trick. If so, I will weep with joy! It's been a problem since I bought it and I'd lost all faith in getting any Fiat dealers (and I've been three times to different ones) to sort it.
Oh, and I am a female Bissell, btw!

Re: Battery draining

Very good I've been watching where this topic was going, I hope the members have sorted your problem where the dealers have been unable.

Re: Battery draining

Just a quick update: it seems to have done the trick! I drove the car last night and it's doing the 'stop and go' thing again, a good indicator of a charged battery's! Yay!
And as an aside, I had been corresponding with Fiat customer services about the problem. They came back to me yesterday and said there was no way I could disable the Blue and Me, it could not be done! I had to disavow them of that!
So thanks again everyone who helped, you have not only saved me money but given me peace of mind.

Hi Bissell

Very same issue here.

My auto electrician want to charge 120.00 to bypass Bluetooth control unit.

Is it possible just to unplug its power?
