Hi all,

Bought my used Fiat yesterday, a 64 plate Fiat 500 Lounge. Think I'm a little in love, bit of a step up from my 05 KA :woot:

The issue I'm having right now is with the stereo. My iPhone 5S has connected to the car via bluetooth and I can send/receive calls with no issues. I can connect it via aux and play music, but obviously can't use the controls on the steering wheel.

But I can't get the USB port to work. Did some googling and it said that they weren't compatible and I needed an adaptor, but the Fiat Accessories website says that my car is young enough to not need one (and would rather avoid shelling out an additional £80. My student bank account is angry enough at me right now )

Have tried disconnecting the battery, my mechanic dad (useful bloke) has had a sniff around and can't find any issues. Any ideas?

Have you tried seeing if the Blue&Me software needs an update via the site below:

Have updated to version 10.0, the usb port was fine with my usb stick but still refuses to recognise my phone being plugged in. Beginning to miss my old car with its aftermarket stereo now lol!

I'd be a bit cheeky and go to a Fiat Dealer and ask them to try your phone with the lead you mentioned to see if it does work with that.
