Hi there members! Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself!

I`m Daniel and a great fan of Fiat 500.
My wife and i we have been several times to Italy and were completely amazed by that small cute car. We keep renting it every time we visit Italy.
So i even decided to by one here in Russia. So i did it and now i`m driving a lexus, but my wife drives Fiat 500 :)

I`m so in love with that tipolo that sometimes i even leave lexus and take wife`s car to drive :)

Anyway, i hope you will give a warm welcome to your foreign friend :)

That is our car in attachement.

It is used one (2010), but it is in very good shape. There are some small cons which i will try to remove in the nearest future, i hope some with your help.

Please accept my appologises fir possible grammar mistakes, English is`t my native language. And in the autum i`m going to attent Italian classes :)

Sincerely, Daniel.

Hi Daniel welcome to the forum. Nice looking car, I think that your 500 is the same colour as mine.

Welcome to the world of Fiat 500s. Think I'd still prefer to drive the Lexus though!

Welcome to the Forum. We see films here of lots of accidents in Russia taken on dashcams. It's not really that bad,is it? I could imagine that ,due to colder Winters there as against those in England it might be a bit worse at that time of year . I'm amazed at your command of English . I only know 3 words of Russian, though can speak some other languages.

Thank you! Being an expert from the Russian Federation in the European counsil for several years gave me some experiense :)
As for roads in Russia - believe me, the situation even worth then it looks.
According to the open data there are about 45 people killed in various traffic accidents every day in Russia. That is why i prefer to travel by plane or train here. When i come to Europe - Italy, Germany and even Greece, i really relax on their roads!

Though in the central region (Moscow region) the situation on the roads is pretty satisfactable, but if you go somewhere a little bit far than 300 kilometers away from Moscow - the roads become more and more look like they are after massive bombs attack.
That is for example

Watched your video. What are you complaining about?. The roads near you look better than some around here. Mind you I've only had one spring broken . A friend of mine had two on his BMW.

Hello there, Daniel! Excellent Example of an Fiat 500! I have the same Car, in the Colour Midnight Blue, with the TwinAir Engine With 84HP.
Read that You have the Lexus too, they are Nice Cars - known for their Reliability and Quality. What Engine do You have in Your Car? Do You have the manual or the Automatic Transmission?

I'm a true Petrolhead, Member of the Norwegian Alfa Romeo Club, I'm also I Writer for the Club Magazine, "AlfaNytt."

As You can see, I live in Norway - in Lillehammer - and I believe We have the same weather Conditions as You. Weather here is quite cloudy, about +18C. It will probably rain soon.

Nice hearing from You, be Posted, and keep in Touch!
Best Regards
TwinTurbo

Nice to meet you!

I have robotic transmission, 1,4 engine with 101HP. I`m not sure how will it go on icy and snow roads, thought with rear drive lexus it is a real proble with no roads cleared in most regions outside of Moscow,
I guess i`ll write a lot of posts and comments here.

As for current weather - it is +25 and sunny here - perfect weather for a ride with opened roofhatch :)

By the way, unlike most european countries here in russia Fiat 500 is EXTREMELY RARE car. For 12 billion populated city i guess we have around 300 fiats or so. The same one can say about alfa romeo cars. So their drivers usually salute each other on the road upon the meeting :)

12 million surely!

Too much i guess of those ****ty cars :)
And our government supports their production at all costs by rising import taxes on foreign cars. For example if you buy Fiat 500 for 15000 euros in Italy you have to pay additional 3000 euros customs tax to ride it here :)
