Posts: 50 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Quick hi from a new Sedici owner Hi everyone, I've been snooping around the forum for a while but haven't really posted much so I thought I'd post a quick hello. I recently took possession of a new Fiat Sedici 2.0 multijet with the Bosch Multimedia Compact head unit/GPS - and they fitted 3M tinted windows and courtesy reverse parking sensors at the dealer's. I love the car to bits. It's economical, comfortable, 4wd, drives and handles great... and can't say I've seen any others on the street here (Guatemala). On the not so positive side I have some minor complaints: 1) There seems to have condensation inside the rear Fiat logo/emblem (the front seems fine though). Is that a common thing? ![]() 2) One of the water jets for the front windshield seemed to be clogged (I took it apart and freed the tiny ball bearing on a spring inside the water tube that - I suppose - is there to regulate pressure and close off the nozzle when there's no water pressure) ![]() 3) I am yet to understand the service schedule... It's the same 2lt diesel as in Europe but over here they want me to "pop in" for a service every 5,000kms (1st service at 1k, 2nd service at 3k, 3rd service at 5k and then every 5k)! What's the regular schedule for you guys with the 2.0 multijet II engine? 4) And last but not least, the GPS is great but the maps it comes with are for Europe. The dealer says they can't help me. I haven't been able to find any provider that actually has Central American maps and have no idea which formats might be compatible... ![]() In terms of mods, I'm not really thinking of doing much... I have a set of 190mm Bosch driving lights that I'm still trying to figure out the best place to put them (don't really want to have then attached directly to the bumper as they would vibrate) and a set of 2-tone horns which I've just installed in-line with the original horn (the photo was before the wiring was done but it should give you an idea). Anyway, that's all from me for now. Thanks for having me ![]() Looking forward to your feedback and am looking forward to checking out your rides and tech tips (and providing my own whenever I get to that level)! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It was a joint venture with Suzuki's SX4 and apparently the Fiat Sedicci was the best selling SUV in Italy in 2007 (or so wikipedia says) ![]() It would seem they made it to the UK but never sold in great numbers... But I was wondering, just generally speaking, do you know of anyone with Puntos and Bravos that have or have had water ingress issues on their Fiat emblems/logos?
