500X Breakdown cover

Hi all, I have just purchased a 500X Pop, it has 12 months Fiat breakdown cover. I have added the phone numbers that came with the new car paperwork into my mobile phone, but none of the numbers are reconised when dialed,I have asked at the showroom where I purchased car from and they said that they have been asked several times about this problem but could not shed any light on the problem. The phone NOs are 00800342800 & 0800342800. Any ideas for a newby guys :bang:

Hi, and welcome

not an exact answer., BUT

AFAIK - it's cover with the AA , so google the AA call centre roadside assistance number, and use that.. ( it MAY be a (non-italianised) version of the numbers you've quoted,

thankfully I never needed breakdown in my punto's initial 3 years..

Thanks for that Charlie, the 500x that I have bought was a demonstrator car used by the showroom, it has done 2,000mls and has haad to have a new gear box installed already, hence the urgency for the breakdown number, thanks again.

I have just tried that number from my mobile and got straight through. As Davren & varesecrazy have said, looks like the 2 00's at the end are missing.

Anyone know what happens after the 12 months is up? Do they ask if you want to extend it for a price etc?

Not an offer I received. Just shop around for the level of cover you require.

Personally...'personal cover' ie. Any wehicle you travel in with a free card for spouse is good value ;,)

Thanks, I wasn't sure if they did a deal at the end? I'll prob look at the AA then at the finish point.

AFAIK it is now Allianz who provide Fiat's breakdown cover
