Have been through these forums a couple times in the last couple of years when looking for info so thought i'd finally register and hang about a bit!
Little Info about my and my Fiat to introduce myself
Passed my test August 2013 before I went to uni to study Television Production. Started leasing my 2014 MK5 Punto 1.2 Easy 3dr in June 2014. Loving it as a first car. Am very lucky to be driving a new car and have done about 11.5K miles in it.
Leasing it means i'm not going to do anything to the car that can't be easily undone, so all I've done to it is replace all of the interior bulbs with LEDs and swapped out the Headlights, Sidelights, DRLs and Foglights with 4300K bulbs for a nicer white than stock. (Any questions about what/how feel free to ask!)
Also have front and rear dashcams installed for incident/why not purposes, wired to turn on and off with the ignition. They've been very handy indeed and I would encourage more people to install them too! Have had footage used in court, on a documentary and occasionally upload clips. Am always happy to help people out with choosing/installing cams or editing and uploading footage!
Was tempted to swap out the speakers for some better ones but the stock ones aren't too bad compared to the majority of cars in the price range so I'm happy with em, Supposedly Fiat started using better speakers after the Punto MK4?
Not likely to be hugely active on the forums but I will certainly hang around and check in a few times a week maybe.
Always willing to answer questions, I'm new to the forums but not new to the car, I've had it just shy of 2 years and 12K miles now!
