I too just got a '81 Spider 2000 on Monday this week. Drove it home and up on jack stands. Water Pump, Timing Belt, Hoses, Upper/Lower A arms, Front Brake Hoses, pull the Trans to see what is wrong with 2nd gear.(and everyone says I should do the Clutch while I'm in there...)

My guess 20 min drive home and 1 month on Jack Stands. But hopefully that will result in a spring, summer and fall mostly on the road.
