Hi!

Ive just been to look at an ice-blue Marea Weekend TD125 because I am after something nippy, economical and cheap to run (not the easiest of characteristic to combine).

If I end up buying it, I will definately be a regular on here.

One or two issues with the car are all that have stopped me from buying it after I test-drove it today (Ive asked a few questions regarding my concerns with the car in the Marea Tech secion).

I bought the car yesterday!

There's one or two "glitches" that I need to sort (it frequently refuses to accelerate after being driven at a steady speed, requiring the clutch to be dipped then released to regain power ), and I've noticed that this is a problem incurred by a number of TD owners on this forum. I'm gonna try some of the remedies suggested in the Tech forum and I REALLY hope it aint gonna cost mega bucks to sort out!

I'm impressed with the handling of the car and the performance (when it feels like playing) and when it isn't playing up, it is a much nicer car to drive than my previous car, a 1990 BMW 320. and will no doubt be frequently found lurking on this forum from now on.
