Just bought a 78 Spider. Needs a few things to get rolling, but nothing big. Fuel filler hose, brakes and rotors all around, oil change, new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap. All in all though, very little external rust showing. Happy with the purchase and am excited to go riding with the top down.

Not surprised you're having fun. I got a 76 Spider a year ago have am loving it. Fabulous car. Loads of worry but loads of fun.
