Good evening all, nice to be part of the Fiat family. When I say 'family' I mean like minded Fiat people, not real family that argue all the time or the Mafioso family that take arguments to a distasteful level with horses' heads and stuff: I often find an expensive well written Clinton card works wonders in settling family disputes without resorting to that.

Anyway, about me. I've had company cars for over 20 years so got used to turning up the stereo at the first sign of a noise from the engine. It was probably at the time "Two Tribes" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood or a fast Kate Bush song. But prior to this carefree life I had a Triumph TR7 when I was 17, and it was lovely. However, it needed daily attention like 'balancing the dash pots' and other stuff I've forgotten but was necessary. In those days I had to tie my long blond highlighted hair back to avoid a moving part calamity. Nowadays my nose hair is the potential problem. I once convinced a girl the TR7 was a high performance Porsche until she had to help me prise up one of the pop up headlights that had stuck. It was raining. I never saw her again which was surprising as I was keeping the car warm for her whilst she grappled with her metal comb to free it. Girls eh.

So here I am on this forum, a proud owner of a Fiat Punto 8V Active 2004 and you know what, it's smashing. I had to buy it because I started working for the public sector and they don't do company cars so it was 1982 all over again. It has a cassette player so I can play my Nolan's C60 tape I'd confined to my mums loft many years ago, along with Boney M and Showaddywaddy.

So far I've replaced the air filter, and the horn and got an ELM327 code reader. My first question to you lovely people is: Are chrome exhaust ends still a thing?

Thanks in advance,
