Just bought myself a Fiat Punto Evo, and it is a wonderful car to drive, only had it for a week before the check engine light came on and the start and stop function stopped working, if anyone knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. I also have another brain teaser for all you fiat fanatics The blue and me function, although it is a brilliant add-on for calling or for android based phones, I have been looking for a way to play music through an iphone or Ipod. I know there is an adapter that I could purchase but I would like to know if anyone has been able to do it without the adapter.

I just plugged in a iphone cable then chose media player and hey presto music from iphone

Regarding the stop start problem - you need to check if the car had the latest software, that has many bugs with the stop start software (Made by BUSH...)
The last update alow you to cancle it, without the need to recancle every new engine start.

What plate/year is your car?

iPhone/iPod connectivity requires a 60 plate car or newer for a straight plug in, or if you're unlucky like me and have a 10 or 59 plate car, it needs the adapter.

I just use a USB stick. Got a 16GB one with thousands of songs on. Miles better than an iPod imho, cheaper too!

For the check engine light, read the codes and post back what error it's spat out.
