Hello - I've just bought a 500L easy in Bashment Blue with black roof. Not sure if it was a good deal or good idea - think it was probably one the dealership couldn't shift but I liked the look of it. Can't find much about its interior spec tho as fiat seem to have dropped that model for Pop Star ? Don't actually get it until next week. Have noticed that it has steel wheels and not alloys. Have been trying to find out what size they are so that I can either get nice chrome hubcaps or perhaps alloys in time. Have had 3 different answers from dealership so far - not helpful. Does anyone know ? And is it easy to change the hubcaps ? Would I need to get fiat hubcaps or would any make the right size do? Have been panicking that I've bought a dud that will be laughed at on the roads ?. Having been a 500 fan for years I didn't like 500L at first but it's grown on me and I quite like its looks. Live in an area where Evokes and Discovery's rule the school run ?. Previous cars were 500 bicolour then 500C lounge. Last 6 months have been driving SMax sport ...... Any help, advice and reassurance welcome..

Hello! Shame that your dealership isn't providing the reassurance that you need when considering you're parting with a lot of cash for a new car. Could be worth pointing this out.

Have a look at this site, you may be able to have a browse of the hub caps available, they are easy to change and should be done for free by your dealership if they are decent sorts. So go and drive a hard bargain!!!

Quick tip, it's worth posting questions like this in the relevant section of the forum for your model of car, just scroll down to find the section on the homepage.

Hope this helps :)

Hi,
of course details vary between countries, here in Austria the Pop Star by default has 16" steel rims with hubcaps. Only the Pop model has 15" rims.
If you go for alloy wheels, you have the choice between 16 and 17" (the latter obviously requiring new tires). 17" means 225/45/17 tires, which means the ride is getting considerably harsher. But they look great on the L. :)

Thanks to both of you that's really helpful. Sometimes find the fiat brochures/website confusing as the info I was given by the dealership didn't even mention the model of car I'd just bought ? Looking forward to getting to car next week though.
