I have a qubo less than 3years old which as a problem...

When I unlock the doors (off key fob) they will lock again straight away. This leads to a lot of fob pressing and door pulling before I can get in.

I've noticed this only happens when it is very cold (10 degrees or less or hot 20 degrees or higher) the higher / lower the temperature the quicker it takes to lock.

The garage say it is not a warranty issue so will not investigate or fix it.

Not sure if it is related but the only other issue the car has is if someone is in the front passengers seat it will flash up they haven't got their seat belt on when they have...but only once or twice in a journey not all the time.

Hope someone can help....

hello , and welcome to FF,
not 100% familiar with the Doblo..,

have you tried resetting lock function in the menu's,

then if it still does it use the key in lock,
see if it's actually resisting the lock turning..,

It's a qubo.

I can't see a reset lock option on the menu.

When I use the key it unlocks but also quickly locks itself. The power of it locking is too much to resist without risking the key getting broken or twisted.

Sorry, can't help with lock problem but seat belt warning is almost certainly the switch/sensor in the passenger buckle receptor - the red button you press to release the belt. I had this intermittent problem on the driver's side. MD wanted to replace the whole stalk for just under £100 so I shorted-out the connector under the seat (as suggested by R-V-M on this Forum) with a push-in wire link. I removed this for the first MOT 6 months later, the problem had disappeared and has not recurred. (y)

Great tip. Will leave for its mot next month them do as suggested.

Yes, go to the dealer but a quick check: do you have another radio key fob and if so does that one do it too? Thinking that the rubbery key press pad is resting on the lock button in the housing making it a little twitchy. Or water has got in to do the same. Are the key button pads deformed at all?
