Hi Everyone, i've just joined the forum as i'm in need of help before my MOT tomorrow!
Some of my lights need changing but i'm not sure which bulbs they are to buy them..
i've attached a pic.. bulb A is gone on the left size and bulb B doesn't come on on either side..

Hi, and welcome to FF,

that's a punto 2 headlight..!!

a = a push in sidelight/ numberplate bulb 5W / 12V - buy a pack of 2..,

the outer.. I'm not so sure,

look in the punto 2/B section..SEARCH is good on here,

Hi Millie and WELCOME TO THE FORUM :wave:

I have changed your thread prefix as they are Punto Mk2 headlights not Mk1.

As above, A is your sidelights. Very straight forward to change. They are 501 (w5w) bulbs 12v

B are your front fog lights. Look carefully at them, as not all puntos have front fog lights, but all the headlights have the chrome bezel for them. Have a look and see if you can see a glass lense like that of your dipped beam headlights. If not then they are just the blanks and don't work. Another good indicator is if you have another fog light switch near your hazard warning switch. If you have 2 then you shod have front fogs. If you only have one then you don't.

bulb a is classed asa 501 capless 5 watt bulb
20 pence on ebay £1 probably at halfords
can be done in situ with cover off and pinch and pull the bulb holder
push all the way in when bulb changed

the outer bulbs are driving lights if wired up and do NOT form part of mot test

sorry s+b but halfords charge 2.99 for pack of 2 501's
Trade tho is .49p
