Hello I am new here and hope you can help me sort this out. On 3/29/14 I bought a 2013 fiat 500 pop that was a demo with 827 miles. It's cute but once I drove out of the lot and was stopped at the stop sign I noticed the car vibrate rather roughly when in drive mode. Even the seat vibrated. I had not noticed this when I was at the dealership or I would have not bought it. The car does not vibrate when in park. The dealer brought me a loaner, took the car to service and reported that there is nothing wrong w it. He said other cars in his lot did the same thing. I drove a rental 2013 fiat last week and had not noticed this vibration. Is this vibration normal: it's like sitting in a gentle massage chair.

What do you'll think? I am 4' 10" and the car sits me night and is the right fit for me. The car is still at the dealer and I will have to decide on my options: replace the car or live w the vibrating car by putting it in neutral when at the light. Please help.

I do not know the answer other than that it is an automatic transmission and it's a 2013 fiat pop 2 door hatchback.

Is it normal for a 500 fiat to idle roughly?

Perhaps massage is a new feature? :D

I've never driven the US version so I don't know how it behaves but my manual does not do that. It's from the factory in Poland though, not Mexico like yours. Whether this makes a difference or not I don't know.

Does it happen all the time?

Yes! I checked other 2013 fiat at the dealer. They were helpful and not opposed to switching me to a different car. All fiat pretty much did vibrate to some degree or another. So I went ahead and brought my car back. Apparently idling is one of the downside of this car that some reviewers have pointed out according to a friend of mine. Today I noticed when parking, (mine is on a slope) the idling was more.

I still love my car. It's under warranty and I think most of us buy this car because we liked it to begin with:)

Ok so I have some concerns:

Anyone notice that the aux wire when plugged into the glove compartment and on media -but not the phone causes static noises. Is this normal w fiat?

Second: anyone notice that sometimes when driving the automatic, it creates a distinct low Kkrrrr sound? Is this normal w fiat?

How many times have you posted this question on various threads? When I read the first one I came across I thought I'll have a look for the poster when I'm out and about later, having read the same question spammed on various threads I'm more inclined to ignore your question altogether.

Yes, I did post my question in various places. I am new to these type of forums and did not realized that there are different topics where different fiat owners and experts can support me. Also I am learning to use the FF application. My apologies for duplicating my question, but you may also read it as a new owner's concern. If you can address what I asked about it may be helpful to me and others. I'd appreciate it. Thanks all the same.
