My name is Simon. I am the proud owner of a 1996 Uno Fire. I'm from South Africa.

Two weeks ago I had total clutch failure, so I went searching for DIY info and came upon this forum!

Thank goodness! I did the clutch myself and after breaking off some wiring from the distributor and searching again on this forum for the answers, my Fire is on the road again!(do not ask for details!)

I am also looking at converting rear drums to disks if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Thank you so much for this forum. It saved me lots of money and I learn something new every time I'm here!

Have a look around the Uno section if you haven't already. Loads of useful information in there! There are a few threads on rear disk conversions.
