Hello!

I am Niall, long time reader, first time poster.

Can anyone please help with solutions to reslove an airbag warning light issue on a Stilo Abarth with error codes as follows;

Driver squib open circuit P0000E
Passanger squib circuit open P0000F

Thansk in Advance

I've had problems with my air bags before. It seems to be an inherent fault from when they were new with the occupancy sensor in the seats. I bought an emulator that plugs in under the seat and this fixed it for a while, but the light has come back on and I have put up with it. Quite if this is the same fault as yours, I don't know.

The problem now is that they will fail your mot for having this light on, and most garages just don't seem to have a clue about fixing this type of fault which could be potentially expensive once you get a specialist or dealer involved and given the current value of Stilos, could make it uneconomical to repair!

CAN SOMEBODY ELSE HELP THIS GUY ON THIS ONE?

Get on the search function, there have been so many enquiries about this there is bound to be someone with the same problems as yours.
My thread is here.
I got some contact cleaner from Maplins, gave the yellow connector in the glove box and either side of the boot a good clean.
I fitted an emulator for the OCS sensor and then chopped out and soldered the connectors under both passenger and driver seats.
This cleared all my errors and got me through my MOT, but I would suggest fitting a connector rather than soldering as you may need to take your seats out at some point!
