Hi all from France.

Hi my name is Dave and I'm an al............ oh sorry that's another site

I live in France and we are just about to buy a 2001 1100cc Fiat Panda 'Young', as 'er indoors' runabout.

Obviously at this age it's going to need a bit of work, first of all on the rear brakes and find out why the coolant header tank was empty

To be honest I'm quite looking forward to doing work on her, no electronics no elec windows or anything else like that - just a nice simple little car, ideal.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave & welcome

I think you'll find it's spelt "Pandaholic" and while you'll get plenty of support here, there's no cure!!

Looking forward to the pictures.

One thing is for sure, once infected with the Pandavirus, you never can't be cured. Even girlfriends can be infected .

Re: Hi all from France.

the only cure to pandaholisum is many many more pandas. till you get to the point where you actually start to think that you have too many. then at that point just get more.

welcome to the panda section. we are.. the strange section of the forum. not as strange as.. umm the other sections though. they have cars with Electronics!?? how crazy is that?!

Eh? It's virtually brand new! My 'modern' daily driver's older than that. (although I'm actually enjoying some rare daily Panda action at the moment as the wife's tractor has snapped a spring)
Obviously it'll have character though.

Re: Hi all from France.

I don't know what you mean, I don't need more than 1 (Panda that is ). I'm not even looking on ebay or anything.

"No nursey I don't need any more sedation I have more than enough, look I've even told the 'bad' people that I don't want another 'nasty' Panda and everything"

Welcome to the madhouse by the way @thebiglad

Hi PH, don't mince your words do you?

Right we are in the Limousin, so just south of the centre of France. Loads of lovely forest tracks and lakes. Loads to see and do.

If you go to Google Maps and search for 23350 France you'll find us.

Cheers
Dave
