Bravo Hello,High MPG Bravo 2009 1.4 active

Hello and thanks for having me.

I have just recently bought my first fiat and its a bravo 1.4 active 2009 petrol 16v 90 BHP.

Im loving the car but hate the low MPG is this normal in this car ???

Says in manual that i should be getting 35 mpg at least.

What are you getting?? You don't actually say

Without wanting to rub salt in, I get 40-42 MPG from my 1.4 Turbo...

T-jet 120HP getting 8l/100km if I am careful I can get around 7.4 but for the last 4800km the average is 8l/100 at a lot of highway and speed aroun 140km/h.

have you had the car long..?,
as the current cold weather will be knocking 10 / 15% off your MPG also,

when was the car last fully serviced?

the non turbo car will not be as economical as the turbo unless driven by a granny

On my 1.4 (90) I'm getting around 46mpg in local use at present. On long runs often 50 plus.

Hello and welcome to the forum

Are you simply looking at the MPG readout or are you calculating it yourself between brim to brim filling?
