I'm thinking of installing an aux input cable in the back of my fiat punto grande sport car stereo instead of replacing The front stereo completely with one that has a USB iphone connection. If the aux cable is sufficient enough for me to play music through my mp3 that should do. Only problem is I usually use my sat nav app on my phone for long journeys & arnt the aux cables short? I need this to fit into my phone holder either above the air vents in the centre dash or to the right of my steering wheel above the dash. Also do I just get the aux lead with the jack on the end (the black wire with one jack only) to go straight into my phone or the one with the red & black on the end? I'm not quite sure what the difference is & need abit help ?

It couldn't be simpler. Just get a regular one (don't worry about the red and white wires), and if it's not long enough, the world of extenders
