Hi all, i have a 52 plate Stilo JTD and was wondering if there are any fairly easy ways i can give it a lil bit more grunt. Iv thought about remaping but dont wona pay £200+ so i just bought a USB-OBD2 interface kit off ebay hoping i could have a play myself lol.
Does anyone have any experience playing with tune files?
Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate and WELCOME TO THE FORUM :wave:

The JTD loves to be remapped. Its such a softly tuned engine to begin with that its capable of a fair amount of power in standard guise.

Have a read of THIS thread re map files and have a look around the stilo section.

Hi, thanks for the tips bud.
I got a KWP2000+ and was all excited but as is always the case there were complications and there was MUCH frustration, ultimately leading to the fact that i think they sent me a dud lol.

I was cruising ebay this morning and i noticed a 103KW turbo supposedly for a JTD or possibly JTDM with 140BHP (forum wont let me post the url yet) which i thought might be worth a tickle. Im wondering if i can just bolt that slightly more powerful turbo to my engine and then fanny about with the mapping to produce something awesome!

Any thoughts?
