Hello!

I have just purchased a 2004 (53 reg) Stilo estate 16v LPG conversion. I'm happy about the way it drives, and somewhat mystified by the locking system and window activity, but will try and do some mugging up and not bother you guys tonight.....but I can't promise I won't tomorrow!

I have been a Fiat owner before (Marea 2.0 for the period 2005-2007), so I know there's quirks to be found!

This time I'm a bit nervous because I haven't owned an LPG car before......:)

It works out at around 10p a mile! Fantastic saving on my last car, a Volvo V40 at 20p a mile!

Factory fitted LPG Stilos were never supplied to the UK unfortunately.

Having LPG fitted was the best modification I've had done to a car. 9p a mile our 1.4 Stilo works out at on gas (was 13p a mile on petrol when unleaded was £1 a litre!).

OP I assume you've checked the car is correctly registered as Gas/Bi fuel on the logbook? Many are not changed, which I believe is illegal. Also saves you £10 a year on road tax having it correctly registered also.
