Hello all
I'm a new seicento abarth owner from chesterfield. Had her for a week now and loving every minute of it! 2001 X plate with 70k and yrs test!



Think I got a bit of a bargain but she does have some battle damage along the drivers door and lower rear quarter and she's also had a VIC check in the past.
She also has a slight oil leak from the rocker gasket and is in need of a water temp gauge asap!
I've been around forums for many years being a member of XDA Developers, landyzone, oople, difflock to name a few

Oh yeah and forgot to mention I got her for £475 in the end!

Have seen the guide and also fitted one years ago to a previous car. the parts have been ordered but forgot it's a bank holiday weekend so wont get to fit it now till next weekend

I'm originally from Bolsover but now live in Brampton.
Hopefully wont have any problems fitting the gauge but after reading on here and another forum I'm thinking of also getting the clutch cable changed as it feels a bit stiff on return

Car looks good .... Rocker cover leak could just be because breather is clogged up .... Easy fix.....

i find usual reason is the rocker cover has been over tightened. New rocker gaskets and don't over do the bolts, they only supposed to be a little over finger tight

Just wondering did you buy the car from that car wash place as you go towards calow hospital by any chance?

Speaking of Bolsover I just bought a corsa from there to use as a runabout while i'm fixing my Cinq (long story).

Ooh never thought of breather being clogged up-will have a look tomorrow when I get in from work. Think my gaskets been over tightened tho as the nuts are very tight so probably gonna need another gasket.
Yeah got the car from what used to be Alans Autos at calow. Had one or two from there over the years and all been ok.
Managed to get my temp gauge all fitted and wired up-just needs adaptor fiting into top hose when I get the chance.

Did cambelt other day and gave throttle body a good clean. Starts and idles loads better now. Breather pipes seemed ok and appeared to be "breathing" properly with air filter housing removed. Also fetched a camshaft o ring from local fiat dealer. Still not got round to fitting it yet though
Changed the colour of the fiat badge this morning
