Yes, see how Fiat is confusing people 
The 500L is the big new Fiat mid range car, nothing to do with the 500, 500c (convertible) or Abarth 500s.
Fiat has called it a 500 in order to trade off the success of the little car and keep customers with the brand should they want to buy a bigger car.
The make of course is Fiat, the sub-brand seems to be 500, and now people are getting confused by a 500L which has nothing to do with the 500 :devil:
Enjoy the car anyway; you'll need to post on the 500 section, not the 500L section, as the 500L is a totally different car ...

In the 500 softop the wind deflector isn't really necessary because of the design but you could see if your dealer will let you try one if you find turbulence is an issue

I have a 500C (see avatar) and had the wind deflector thrown in to the package. In my opinion it does nothing as it sits below the top of the hood when its down. The deflector was not in stock when I picked up my car so I ran for about a week without, when I put it on I didn't notice any difference. Rear passengers may but I'm not so sure. More of an expensive fashion statement.
