Hello. First an introduction, then a question to start things going.

My name is Rob and I live in Florida (USA). I have fond memories of my Father driving his 850 Sport as a child and I suspect it contributed to my becoming a life-long car enthusiast. Over the years, I've gone through 3 BMWs, a few Porsches, a Jag XJS, a few American Muscle cars, a 240Z, and an array of boring cars. Currently, I drive a supercharged 350Z, a 740i Sport BMW, and a 71 Detomaso Pantera.

I test drove the Abarth today and found it interesting. I need a commuter car and the Abarth would be a great daily driver. Although impressive for what it is, I'd like to get another 50-100 HP out of it. What are some options short of replacing engine internals?

welcome to the forum mate, there are a few upgrades that are very popular with the 500 abarth, and will definitely get you between the 50-100hp mark, these are the Monza exhaust system, gtt intake and a tmc tuning box. let me know if this helps at all.

I pulled the trigger and got a white 2013 Abarth off the showroom floor. Not crazy about the white rims, but they are growing on me. Car has the leather, sunroof, Serius with only the standard badges (no stripes).

Lots of fun. What mods can I do for the 50-100 HP gains that will not void the warranty? I'll post a separate thread to ask about non-performance upgrades.

Thanks,

Rob

I'm guessing the Monza exhaust and TMC tuning box are not available in the United States or for US specs. Anybody have U.S. options?
