im not a lover of black wheels though
can i ask did you do the roof wrap yourself and if so was it easy
cheers

Looks really good. Thing i would change would be debadge the back.

Also just wondering, how good is your shark fin aerial for reception? if you think it is good and picks up most of the stations, could you find me a link as i want one of these (Black car, think it will look good)

Colour coded ariels are easily done and IMO look pretty darn swish :)

yeh did it myself took about 1 hour and half seen as it was my first ever vinyl job myself!

Just worried about reception. Not that i listen to the radio that often, i can't at the moment because no aerial at all!
Still undecided what to do with mine next (mk2) I like the idea of mk2b sporting bumpers on front and back, replacing the grills with aluminum mesh, debadging and lowering 30mm all round, and sporting alloys as above but in Graphite colour.

back on topic, really do like the look of this one!

The front bumpers aren't a direct fit, will take some cutting - plastic welding to make a mk2 have a mk2b front bumper

But as far as i understand - the mk2 can have a mk2b bumper on the rear
If you wish to tint lights completly the mk2b bumper is best as it has reflectors in it

Might just leave it then!
Currently have one that needs re-wiring but is a inside amplified one.
Might stick with that and get rid of the base of the original one.

Looks nice though

Really? i thought they looked so similar it would be a easy swap.
How hard would you say the cutting and welding would be?
Sam

How much was the vinyl for the roof and where did you get it from?

cheers

I cant believe nobody has suggested black gloss wrapping the b-pillar I think although a subtle mod it would really work well with the windows :)

I've been considering doing this to my five-door (but matt...) -- as I think it would look quite neat: especially if I tinted/sprayed/smoked my indicators, too.... (Someone on here has done it, I'm sure: but it's too late, and I can't remember who it was....)

PS: Found it... -- but sadly the picture links have died.... :(
