Hey everyone, second attempt, tried to post and it didn't work haha :(

I'm relatively new to the world of puntos. Been looking for one for around 4 months and finally went to look at my first one today. Was mint.. apart from 2 things. Just need some advice on prices/how to etc as im not much of a petrol head and i'm a noob when it comes to cars.

It's a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 16v Sporting, orange in colour, 26k miles on the clock, one owner and all that good stuff. Got a price of £3450 at the moment.
Bit of a rubbish picture, there was a tree blocking all the light

The back bumper is new as it got scratched quite badly and it's a bit of a different colour. From looking at it, it seems as though its a bad job. It's not matched properly and its very matte in look and doesn't look like it's had a proper coat of lacquer. It's also got runs which i thought was a tell-tale sign. Could anyone give me a rough idea of what i'm looking at to get it resprayed? I'll post a photo, i think you can see it quite clearly

It's not too bad, i'd just like it to be nice and wanted to look at what price i would be looking to pay to get it all sorted. Someone did suggest moping and tcutting, but from talking to people it seems as though that it would not do it because of the difference on colour?

Secondly, i think it's only a small job, but what would it cost to get the vinyls on the b pillars redone and how easy is it to do yourself?

I think that's all that was bothering me apart from only a few little bits like the aerial.

Any help would be much appreciated as i know nothing!

Thanks in advance, Danny :D

Hi there, we recently had a test drive in an identical Punto for my daughter, a very nice car and fast too. Regarding the rear bumper, allow about £200 for a decent paint job on it and the black pillars is probably something you can do yourself with a little patience. Make sure they are totally cleaned of the old covering and any old glue, spray the pillers with water and apply the new covering and use a squeegee to remove any air bubbles. Hope this helps.

Hey mark,
Yeah, we drove it today. Was very nice, liked it alot, just ashame about the paintwork really. I guess that isn't too bad considering i've already got £300 off the price already, might be able to get a bit more to cover it fully as i might have to get the front one done aswell depending on how it comes up after a good tcut.

Regarding the vinyl that helps me a hell of a lot, hopefully it shouldn't cost me a lot to get it done then, which is good.

Many thanks mate :)

if you've knocked 300 off already for the rear one, knock 500 off all together for the 2 bumpers and the vinyls then you'll have more than enough. Does it have the black and orange interior?? That was nice.

I had offered £3200 to pick it up tomorrow but he didn't take to kindly. I'm gonna try for £3300 and that should cover all the work hopefully.

And yes mate, it does have that interior, it is very nice :)
