Hi all! I've just popped by to say hello and introduce myself I picked up my brand new 500 Lounge with the TwinAir engine from Fiat Marylebone on the 1st September (62, yup ) and am soooo pleased with it!

I've joined the Fiat Forum as no doubt I will have to seek the advice and support from experienced Fiat owners (I've had two Toyotas before now!), and my friend Bren J has sought solace here in the past when he owned his Stilo Abarth. Hopefully I'll not have anything like the issues he has had with Fiat in the past!

In the meantime, I suppose I should show off the beauty

Gilly, you made all the right moves, including posting a pic of your lovely new car.

Fiat used to have a terrible reputation as a manufacturer of "old nails" - but few people on here (myself included) seem to have had any major problems.

Or many minor ones for that matter.

Hey! I have old Fiats and they are more reliable than the more modern Mercedes I've got too.

Very beautiful indeed Something bright and cheerful for the winter, sure she will warm you up just by looking at her! Hope you have tons of fun.

I think if you take care of your Fiat, your Fiat will take care of you. Most of the ones we have had from new (or nearly new) have caused us very little problem. And how many other cars today make you smile the whole time you're driving it? I recently came back to the 500 and I'm loving it. Welcome to the forum.
