Hi all, I recently bought a 51' plate seicento sporting as my first car :) she's an absolute minter! But it's going to be a few months until I can actually drive her :( I have been told that they handle like go-karts and are fun to drive, but I don't know what to expect what she's like in a straight line, can someone give me some sought of insight please :) many thanks!

Welcome! Nice choice!

Yes you are right, handle like Go-Carts, I love chucking mine into corners! So Fun!

In a straight line, errr there not the fastest thing in the world but are nippy enough to put a smile on your face! and keep up with motorway traffic without kaning it. :slayer:

Have Fun!

Thanks chaps! Got many ideas for my sei already! I'll be at the shows one day! :) see you on the road soon!

just bought a yellow sporting today, drive is great fun, it was to stand in for our mini cooper (proper one of course) which is in for long term major surgery (aren't they all?) seicento drive is pretty close to mini drive, i was really pleasantly surprised. we shall keep her now even when old min returns. well, well, well impressed with seicento.:):):):)

Still lovin' the sporting, she's a pleasure to drive, why doesn't everyone own one?

best thing is, you can add a few more BHP for very little money, with abit of knowledge and money you will be leaving alot of things in your wing mirrors :)

you're right blu, mini is super quick round corners, and to be fair super quick in a straight line compared to std sporting. However, mini's are pricey 1959 tehnology with a few 1990's ecu spi bits bolted on. seicento's are bargain basement fun and lots more everyday-able. Love this one, W plate 2000MY, 45,000 miles. one-owner. Absolutey smitten, has creature comforts as well, electric windows, central locking etc. Notquite as cool but MASSIVE fun!!
