I'm "oldgiracer" which means I'm retired US Army veteran and I have a 1973 Spider race car which I recently bought. The transmission will not stay in reverse even if you try to hold it in gear manually. Anyone have any ideas of what is causing this and how to fix it? I'm planning to race it next month and need any help I can get. Thanks!
