Hi there I've had the same problem as other members on my doblo where the rear door won't lock because of a broken part. I've got a new door handle and need to swap the barrels but I can't see how I remove the barrel. Don't want to force anything cuz I know I'll break something. Any ideas?

ive got a similer problem..

On my back doors on my doblo my locking mechanism wont work at all with remote locking or key locking ...

stripping my back door down and getting the door unlocked..
After about an hour relising that from the moving electric arm what moved when locking and unlocking by remote locking and the actual circular locking part inside the door.. well i didnt have the bits what conncect them together..

So went to fiat this morning asking them what i need etc..

turns out i had to buy a full replacement handle and lock for £88+ VAT

just all for a little bit of plastic about an inch in size

So i left it and going to go scrap yard and pull on out of there.

Well i know what you mean with the round barrel.. was a pain to tighten up using alan key so i ended drilling a 6mm hole into door and slotting alan key through there to tighten the nut up
Thanks

That little bit of plastic is a really common problem. Someone posted once that they made a metal bit to replace it. You could try that?

yer the little plastic bit..

I aint hadchance to go scrappy yet but i think ill rake the garage and try make somehing to replace it .. .

Hi. First post and would like some help please.
I've been having the same problem as others, rear door wont lock, the key turns in lock but nothing. Have had a look and freed up the pin, rods all fine, can see how it all works etc, but turning the key does nothing! I can see what should turn (the plastic bit should turn 90 degrees ish, prev posts) to push the pin (that sticks, prev posts) but it doesn't. Tryed the 3mm allen key bolt loose and tight......so is it the barrel that's gone? 55 plate doblo jtd 1.9. Can't seem to see any other posts with this problem of the actual plastic pin pusher not turning..

Thanx for any help..love my doblo.
