55 married and retired, keep chickens(19) and ducks (7) on 5 acres of land about 60 kilometres south west of Limoges. Sold a 1988 Renault 4 to buy our Panda. It is designated a Hobby here with, thanks to help on the forum, I now know to be the 40 hp 900 cc engine. One elderly lady owner from new who gave up driving after rear ending another car. The car came with a damaged front bumper, break between the indicator and headlamp and slight distortion to the offside front wing which I hope will go when I pull the bumper out a little. Apart from that the car is superb with absolutely no rust anywhere, just a few of the usual French scratches and dents to each end. 109000 kilometres which is about 70000 miles if my sums are right. The advantages of no saly on the roads is the rust free condition, the disadvantages of France are that it cost 1500 euros which is about 1400 pounds at todays exchange rate. Second hand cars here are ludicrously expensive, this was really cheap by comparison.
