Greetings Fiat folks,
My first Fiat (A Barchetta) arrived here in London Ontario, Canada by way of Japan and I am very excited by it. I love it's lines and styling. I bought it on a whim while filling a container of cars from Japan to ship here for my business.
Of course I suspect I have a variator to deal with but I will delve into the forum for help with that shortly.
A little about myself: I spent several years living in Tokyo with my family working as a Car exporter, and now own and operate a business in London Ontario importing cars. I import a container of cars every month during our hot season. My company is Bonsai Rides

I hope I have the Barchetta on my hands for long enough to have some fun with it- after being so used to JDMs it is such a pleasure to have something in with a touch of Italian style!
Cheers
Bonsai

Hi Bonsai and welcome to the forums.

I also used to live in Tokyo for a few years (in Taipei now) - and just recently came back from vacation in Canada :D My friend went to university in London, though I'm not sure which one it was!

I tell you though - if ever you send a crate back the other way, can you pop in a GMC panel van for me (y) much appreciated!

Not sure which university or not sure which London, lol.

Hey guys,
Ben, I actually lived on Kaohsiung before we moved to Japan- Really miss Taiwan! In London Ontario we have the University of Western Ontario.. London is a little funny- like a minature version of London, UK with the same street names, a little Themes river etc. Only 300,000 population though.
If any DIY'ers have done the Veriator on their Barchetta I'd like to hear about your tribulations! I read through my service history and found the timing belt had been changed at 65000km (now I am at 78,000km).
If anybody wants to see my Barchetta I have pics up on Bonsai Rides dot com

cheers,
Bonsai
