Hi Dudes, just got a FAB '08 Pandamonium (complete with correct stripes and factory red calipers), lovely car so far - early days but very impressed with overall 'quality' of this car - far better than Fiats of old! Can anyone help on a worry for the future; Many years ago I had a lovely little AlfaSud 1350ti - went like a rocket and sounded so good - it had plastic sill/wheel arch extensions - which in the UK made nice little mud traps for rust to develop..... Is it possible/easy to remove the extensions on a 100HP, to clean and wax inside metalwork?? Sorry if this sounds a bit OTT - I'll have sold car by time it starts to rust... (no jokes please!) or is this a known issue and something you long time owners know about?

Hello Springtime, welcome to Fiat Forum and congratulations on the car. You won't get any funny comments from me, trying to look after a car and keep it as pristine as possible is something I wholeheartedly support.

With more modern cars the rustproofing is much improved hence the long perforation warranties that come with all cars made over the last decade or so. However, it would also annoy me if there was a mud trap even though it might never become a problem so I would be looking to do the same as you.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with this car so all I can suggest is to ask the same question in the Panda forum and hopefully you will get the answer to your question.

If you don't get a definitive answer try the Car Care section but explain that you have already asked the question in the Panda forum, but to no avail and that way the section mod will realise that you haven't posted in the wrong bit and move it thinking he will be helping you.
