Hi there, ive just bought a yellow punto 1.2 sporting 2003 plate. on seeing other puntos, ive noticed that not many of them have a sunroof?? mine has an electric one which i cant actually work out how to close properly?!?! (Yes i am a blonde but not even my fiancee' can do it!) when ever it looks closed it is actually open and leaks water (as we found out by taking it through an automatic carwash in which ended up in my new punto having a water-fall in the roof and my interior, myself and my fiancee' being washed and waxed!!!) im abit worried about this as i dont want to face a nasty surprise when it gets to winter. it has a felt-like seal on it but no rubber seal?? not sure if this is what its meant to be like?? we have been looking out for puntos with the same sunroof as mine for a chance to ask the owners if they have the same problem. i dont really want to take it to our fiat dealership as they seem to be a complete rip off.

Anyone who could shed some light or help me out with this would be a massive help!!!

It does sound like you could need a new sunroof seal my friend has a gt with electric roof but hasn't had no problems

You might be better off posing this question in the Punto section as (unfortunately) not many people look in here to greet the newbies

Edit: Looking here I think what you might need is part 5 on picture 2. Again though, check with the guys in the Punto section first as there are bound to be more people with the Sunroof option
