I am a friend of a new Amigo 900E owner. I found the van for her on ebay and am her tech advisor as she is an actress!

She LOVES the camper but inevitably would like more power. Did I read somewhere that you can replace the engine with a boxer or alfa unit?

Failing that, or maybe instead, how can you sharpen up the existing unit? Carbs etc? It is a 1979 model.
