Afternoon all

Im new to the forum so thought id post my question in this section! Im currently looking at buying a new car and im going for either the fiat 500 (Lounge spec) or the Punto Evo (most likely the GP or dynamic spec).

Im just wondering out of these 2 which would be the better purchase? Im thinking more along the lines of Value for money, tax band and overall driving (if anyone has either of these 2 models that is!) The maximum price im looking at will be about £11,500

The big factor for me will be insurance, Im only 21 years old and ive been driving for about 2 and abit years so the engine size i probably wont get anything over a 1.4, i know its abit of a stab in the dark but im just looking for abit of advice really, i know the 500 will hold its value better say 3 years down the line but ive also been told as standard that the Punto Evo has a better equipment spec.

i think the new 500's look pants compared to the classic.

depending on the size of car you require i would go for the punto...

the 500 is slightly smaller so might be easier to park etc...

speak to your dealer, shop around, DO NOT just jump into a purchase with the first dealer you come across.

see what kind of deal they can knock together fro you, then knock him down on price..

don't be embarrassed at asking for money off, after all £1 is better in your pocket then his. be as bold as brass then just as your happy with the deal, walk away for 24 hours and think about everything.

even use this as a weapon with other dealers to see if they can beat the price.
