Alright folks, decided to register after reading the forum for several months and even though I doubt anyone will reply I'll say hello anyway 
I've been a car fanatic since I can remember. My childhood revolved mainly around cars. I remember being bored one day as a young child and someone put the TV on for me to keep me quiet and it turned out to be Formula 1. I soon picked a driver at random (Schumacher) and he won the race. I had well and truly caught the racing bug.
From there on in F1 played a big part in my life and as a result my interest in cars grew from there.
So in December last year I passed my Driving Test and was on the lookout for a car. After going to auction my eye was on a tasty Corsa however it proved to be too expensive. It looked like I'd be leaving the auction without a set of wheels until a little 2001 Punto ELX drives in. I nipped down to have a quick look (seeing as that's all you get at the auction nowadays) and made 1 bid of £550 and won the car. I've only had the car for 4 months and I am already quite attached to it. It's metallic green paint has earned it the name 'Percy' like the train from Thomas the Tank Engine and it is a reliable little car. Hopefully with a bit of help from you guys on the forum, Percy can turn out to be a cracking little car.
