Hi,

I am a new member and have a problem with my Fiorino. Has anybody out there got any ideas?

I have a Fiorino 1999 1.7TD and have just had a new heater matrix fitted by a garage.

Now it blows mostly cold air but sometimes slightly warmer and sometimes reasonably warm.

I have been back to the garage and they tell me there is either an air lock or the thermostat is stuck.

The pipe going to the heater is hot, the pipe coming from the heater is cold.

If the thermostat was stuck both pipes would be cold?

When I disconnect the pipe coming from the heater, no water comes out.

When I open the bleed screw on the pipe from the heater, water comes out but then goes to a trickle and then stops.

All that I can think of is that the heater valve is stuck?

What do you think & can it be repaired/replaced easily, I don't really want to take it back as I'm not happy!

Further they told me when they were taking the heater out that at the point when they couldn't get it out they'd have to take the dashboard out.

They disconnected the instrument dials and took them out, then discovered that the dash could stay where it was.

When I left the garage, the speedo no longer works.

I have been back to them about the heater and they fixed the speedo.

When I left and drove off down the road the speedo still does not work!

I look forward to hearing any sensible comments.
